Happy Halloween!

I was talking about Halloween to my son, Travis, a couple of days ago and jokingly said I used to make their costumes big enough to go over a winter coat.  A winter coat is definitely needed this year as it is snowing as I write this.

1991 was one year when I put my sewing machine away and let the kids pick their own store bought costumes for Halloween.  Kirsten and Travis chose to be football players.  The choice surprised me a little, but they both had fun trick or treating that year.  And, yes, their winter coats fit under this costume.
